You may have noticed the lack of a review for Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures on IGN. It's not because we've been avoiding play time. Since the game launched in the United States on Tuesday, we've been slugging our way through its content every day. The simple fact of the matter is games of the massively multiplayer online genre are enormous; they're meant to be played and enjoyed for years. |

Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures will take a different tack by offering brutal real-time combat that will let you hack and slash your enemies into mincemeat. That's not an exaggeration--the game's extremely violent combat, which includes skewering enemies and lopping off limbs and heads, is in keeping with the source material from author Robert E. Howard, and will soon be available to try out in the GameSpot player-versus-player beta weekend. |

Just like World of Warcraft, Age of Conan is a MMORPG. It is an abbreviation for Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game. There are many MMORPG games out there but Age of Conan remains to be one of the better and preferred ones. |
